Disneyland and Universal Studios are two of the best theme parks in California, offering unique experiences that are sure to provide fun for the whole family. Whether you are a fan of Disney movies or popular TV shows, these parks have something for everyone. So, if you are planning a trip to California, make sure to add Disneyland and Universal Studios to your itinerary. You won’t regret it!

Best Time to Visit LA

You can visit Los Angeles any month of the year because the weather is mild, dry, and chilly year-round. Summers are hotter in the Valley than at the coast. Mornings can be cloudy, but afternoons are usually sunny.

The ideal months to visit are September and October or February and March. November through January (except for holidays) might be a good time to visit because of fewer crowds and lower prices, but the weather is colder and it’s the “rainy season” in Los Angeles.

Transportation

LAX is the main airport for most travelers to Los Angeles. Other local airport choices are John Wayne Airport, Long Beach Airport, LA/Ontario International Airport, and Bob Hope Airport.

You can choose from airport buses, shuttle vans, city buses, light rail, cabs, and rental vehicles at LAX. LAX is connected to the Metro Rail Green Line light rail system by a free shuttle bus. Free shuttle buses transfer passengers between airline terminals.

The LA Metro may not be the best option, but it can be useful for getting around and saving money on expensive Uber fees or parking. It’s also helpful if you’re staying outside Los Angeles but want to visit for a day.

What to Expect

When you arrive in Los Angeles, you’ll notice there are many things to do.

There are seemingly endless options for exploration. Fortunately, there are many free activities in Los Angeles.

Approximately 50 million tourists visit Los Angeles each year to enjoy world-class food, entertainment, museums, nightlife, and amusement parks.
